In the music video work by there are about 4 men that seem exotic and dangerous which fits the rock stereotype. Richard dyers theory is represented here because this stereotype of rock is shown as dangerous because in the music video there was a lot of fire which was dangerous. However, in the video they are very energetic and enthuastic as they just around lot and back on the drum which stereotypically the target audience would love which goes against Richard dyers theory.
Also, in believer which was sang by imagine dragons have men that are fighting with tops off this could be a female gaze because they have tops off which stereotypically most woman want to look at. Also, they are fighting to see who’s the strongest and they are muscly. In bastille good grief they used the theory of jean baudrillard- hyper reality because they have a man whose head has been chopped off but is still talking which isn’t actually real but they make it seem real in the video maybe because the person on the floor is in grief and head has been chopped of which could maybe symbolises that his losing his head.
